Shift Type: Nights (per diem), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (overnight)

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Perform reliable vital signs monitoring and report changes promptly
- Support safe patient transfers and ambulation with proper body mechanics
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the nursing team
- Follow infection control practices and facility protocols consistently
- Help create a calm, respectful environment that promotes patient dignity
Qualifications
- Active LNA / Nursing Assistant certification (NH or VT licensure preferred given VT/NH coverage)
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain quickly
- Comfortable working overnight hours and adapting to per diem schedules
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, patient-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in basic patient care and ADLs
- Competent with vital signs, documentation, and observation reporting
- Knowledge of standard infection control procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans accurately
