Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered direct care to residents, supporting daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility safely and respectfully
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition promptly to the nursing team
• Follow individualized care plans and document care accurately and timely
• Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices when needed
• Practice proper infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and fellow caregivers to maintain a positive, healing environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with 12+ hour shift format and able to provide consistent, reliable coverage
• Demonstrated compassion, good communication skills, and teamwork spirit
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and personal care skills
• Basic clinical observation and reporting abilities
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with residents
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
