Licensed Nursing Assistant

Location: Lebanon, NH

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Per diem; 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Document care provided in the resident record in a timely, accurate way
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and family members
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Participate in shift handoffs and team meetings to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (VT or NH preferred based on job title)
Comfortable providing direct resident care and assisting with ADLs
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
Previous long-term care or acute care experience is a plus but not always required

Education

Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Basic clinical skills including taking vitals and observing changes in condition
Familiarity with documentation best practices and charting
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
Team-oriented attitude and clear verbal communication
