Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition accurately
- Support mobility and safe transfers while applying proper body mechanics
- Assist nursing staff with treatments and follow established care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
- Document care actions promptly and accurately in the patient record
Qualifications
- Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Eligible to work in New Hampshire and able to meet facility onboarding requirements
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in long day shifts
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Completion of a state-approved LNA training program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and assistance with ADLs in long term care or similar settings
- Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
- Familiarity with basic infection control and safety protocols
- Good charting and documentation practices
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
- Compassionate patient interaction and effective teamwork
