Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Support residents with mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting needs
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the healthcare team
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and emotional well-being through respectful care
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential valid in New Hampshire or ability to obtain
- Completion of a state-approved LNA training program
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings as per facility policy
Education
- Completion of a state-approved LNA program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven skills in patient-centered care and assisting with ADLs
- Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Reliable documentation and charting skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff
