Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a licensed nursing assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient condition and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential for NH (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care practices and infection control
- Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Comfortable with charting and basic documentation
- Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and clinician directions
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during shifts
