Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to nursing staff promptly
- Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with the care team to contribute to individualized care plans and positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Active or eligible to obtain CNA certification in Maine
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass facility-required background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification (program completion required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and personal assistance skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
