Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document patient condition changes accurately and promptly
- Assist nursing team with care plans, following directions and protocols
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance for residents
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications
- Current LNA license or certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant)
- Must be local to the St. Albans area; local-only assignment
- Reliable transportation required for consistent on-site attendance
- Willingness to work evening shifts and every-other-weekend rotation
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program or equivalent training
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient personal care and basic nursing tasks
- Comfortable with documentation and electronic or paper charting
- Knowledge of infection control and clinical safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate changes appropriately
- Good time management and the ability to work well under supervision
