Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Janesville, WI

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day) — 30 hours/week; No weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 30

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess communication and swallowing needs using evidence-based evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals
Deliver skilled speech-language therapy to improve patient outcomes
Document progress clearly and timely in the patient record
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers
Educate and train family/caregivers to support carryover and progress

Qualifications

Valid Speech-Language Pathology state license (or eligible to obtain)
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or willingness to pursue credentialing
Clinical experience providing speech-language services (clinical or school settings preferred)
Strong communication and documentation skills; team-oriented mindset

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or related graduate degree)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assessment and intervention for speech, language, and swallowing
Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches and goal setting
Proficient documentation and outcome measurement practices
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Comfortable educating families and coaching caregivers
