Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and document vital signs and resident condition changes and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team
• Assist with feeding and nutrition support while honoring residents' dignity and preferences
• Support care planning and accurate charting to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families, offering emotional support and respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant credential (NH license required; VT credential noted in title)
• CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background checks, health screenings, and facility onboarding
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar resident-focused setting preferred
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working nights

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident personal care
• Proficient with taking and recording vital signs and basic observations
• Clear, compassionate communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic charting and documentation competency (paper or electronic systems)
• Knowledge of infection prevention, resident safety, and dignity-preserving practices
