Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care and support for residents’ daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
• Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Document resident observations and care provided in a clear, timely manner
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies to protect residents and staff
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team and families
• Help create a warm, respectful environment that supports resident wellbeing

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential for VT or NH (required)
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and providing hands-on resident care
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills, compassion, and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved LNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance and mobility support
• Able to accurately take and record vital signs and observe changes
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient-handling techniques
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Reliable time management and ability to work in fast-paced care settings
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care
