Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Assess resident conditions and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and promote resident dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and family members to create person-centered care plans
- Maintain clear, timely charting and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working night shifts; previous long-term care experience a plus but new grads welcome
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and IV/SC skill familiarity appropriate to LPN scope
- Resident assessment and basic wound care knowledge
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation experience or quick learner
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Time management, critical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills
