Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality outpatient cardiology care to follow-up, annual and acute cardiology patients
- Manage post-procedure follow-up visits and established patient care
- Provide inbox coverage and manage electronic messages for absent providers
- Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing to guide complex patient management
- Document thoroughly and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with MAs, RNs and front office staff to coordinate patient-centered care
- Work independently within a team-based care model to maintain clinic flow and patient safety
Qualifications
- Current ARNP or PA credential (NP/ARNP or PA)
- Active Washington medical license or eligibility to obtain WA licensure
- Outpatient cardiology experience required
- Proven EPIC EMR experience required
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable interpreting cardiology imaging and diagnostic results
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinic team
Education
- Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current ARNP or PA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- EPIC electronic medical record proficiency
- Cardiology diagnostic interpretation (ECG, echo reports and other imaging)
- Excellent clinical assessment and triage skills
- Inbox and electronic message management
- Clear patient communication and patient education
- Team collaboration and clinical workflow coordination
