Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, accurate medication dispensing and prescription verification to keep patients safe
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence in a compassionate, clear way
- Collaborate with clinic and healthcare teams in the Medical Office Building to coordinate patient care
- Manage retail pharmacy operations including inventory oversight and OTC recommendations
- Float to nearby retail locations when needed to ensure consistent patient service
- Support a pharmacy culture focused on customer service, quality, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin (required)
- Active pharmacist license with good standing and ability to practice in WI
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred; confident in medication dispensing and verification
- Comfortable with patient counseling and providing over-the-counter recommendations
- Willingness to work Saturday morning rotations and float to other local sites
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication dispensing and prescription verification best practices
- Patient counseling techniques and clear communication
- Retail pharmacy operations and OTC product knowledge
- Familiarity with pharmacy information systems and inventory management
- Strong customer service mindset and teamwork
