Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple specialties (abdominal, vascular, breast, OB/GYN, ABI)
- Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment while maintaining image quality and safety
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear explanations during procedures
- Accurately document exam findings and communicate relevant information to the care team
- Participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled
- Support quality assurance activities and help maintain a safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- ARDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proven experience performing abdominal, vascular, breast, OB/GYN, and ABI studies (general ultrasound skill set)
- Comfortable with on-call and rotating holiday coverage
- Strong patient communication and teamwork skills
- State licensure if required by Wyoming regulations
Education
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (Associate degree or higher preferred)
- ARDMS certification (required)

- Ultrasound imaging techniques and safety
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography best practices
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Vascular ultrasound
- Breast ultrasound
- OB/GYN ultrasound
- Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) testing
- Patient positioning and exam protocol
- Basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
