Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and compassion
- Follow imaging protocols and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure
- Position patients correctly and explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment; report any issues promptly
- Upload and manage images in PACS and assist providers with image retrieval
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the care team to deliver excellent patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control policies
Qualifications
- ARRT (Radiography) certification required
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtain within orientation
- Previous RADT experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting preferred
- Ability to work the listed day shift schedule reliably (Mon–Fri)
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent accredited program)
- ARRT registry and state licensure as noted in qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in radiographic techniques, patient positioning and radiation safety
- Familiarity with PACS and basic radiology information systems
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with portable and departmental X-ray equipment
- Detail-oriented with good documentation and time-management skills
- Team player who can collaborate with clinical staff and providers
