Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Active California Speech Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and conditions
