Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy care across outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings
• Travel to remote villages to deliver essential therapy services and home visits
• Collaborate closely with medical providers and community members to create individualized care plans
• Incorporate evidence-based practice and cultural sensitivity into patient care
• Modify treatment plans based on age-specific and patient-specific needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Alaska OT license (or ability to obtain) and NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations, including non-English speakers
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Cultural competency and respect for diverse backgrounds
• Ability to interpret medical literature and apply evidence-based practice
