Location: Bethel, Alaska

Start Date: 11-18-2025

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible due to village travel)

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy care across outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings
Travel to remote villages to deliver essential therapy services and home visits
Collaborate closely with medical providers and community members to create individualized care plans
Incorporate evidence-based practice and cultural sensitivity into patient care
Modify treatment plans based on age-specific and patient-specific needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Alaska OT license (or ability to obtain) and NBCOT certification
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with diverse populations, including non-English speakers
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Cultural competency and respect for diverse backgrounds
Ability to interpret medical literature and apply evidence-based practice
