Shift Type: Variable 8- or 10-hour shifts, with on-call requirement including some nights, weekends, and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $116.87 - $87.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during a variety of cases including laparoscopic, bariatric, ortho, neuro, urology, GYN, and ENT
• Maintain sterile field and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR system
• Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

• Extensive knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR documentation
• Understanding of Phillips telemetry monitoring
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple case types
