Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment use
• Document progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
• Empower patients to reach their highest level of function and quality of life

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or equivalent
• At least one year of recent OT experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in functional assessments and activity analysis
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
• Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation standards
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse patient populations
• Team player with a positive and compassionate attitude
