Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment use
Document progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
Empower patients to reach their highest level of function and quality of life

Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or equivalent
At least one year of recent OT experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in functional assessments and activity analysis
Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation standards
Ability to adapt interventions for diverse patient populations
Team player with a positive and compassionate attitude
