Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a transitional rehabilitation setting
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient independence
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to healthcare providers

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico (required)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or transitional care preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and critical thinking
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Wound care and infection control
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Electronic health record documentation
