Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to assigned patients with professionalism and attention to detail
Perform focused assessments and document findings accurately in the medical record
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
Respond to clinical changes and escalate concerns promptly to appropriate providers
Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license (California) - required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - preferred
Comfortable working per-diem and adapting to different clinical settings
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings as required

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and critical thinking
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Patient education and health promotion techniques
Triage and basic emergency response
Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
