Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms closely to detect changes in patient status
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for telemetry patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
Provide clear patient and family education about cardiac monitoring and care
Respond promptly to clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

Current RN license in California (required)
Telemetry experience or demonstrated competency in cardiac rhythm monitoring
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS) preferred
Ability to work per diem shifts, including short-notice coverage
Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and teamwork in high-paced environments
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy basics, and patient education
