Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for med/tele patients with conditions like CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and medical-surgical telemetry cases
Read tele strips independently while techs monitor
Manage Cpap, Bipap, and high flow patients with confidence
Collaborate with PCTs, respiratory therapists, and leadership for top-notch care
Float to other med/surg units to make an impact across the hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license required
BLS (AHA) certification
2 years of experience
Strong ability to read tele strips

Education

BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

Great communication to connect with patients and team
Solid time management to thrive in a 6:1 ratio
Telemetry monitoring and strip reading expertise
