Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 1830-0700, every third weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to labor and delivery patients including those with intrauterine pregnancy, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and water births
Titrate critical drips like Pitocin, magnesium, insulin, antihypertensives, and hemorrhage medications with confidence
Collaborate with charge nurses and OB techs to maintain AWHONN staffing standards in a 14-bed L&D unit
Support safe births and newborn care in a Level 2 trauma setting
Float voluntarily to other OB areas or hospital departments as a valued team player

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS and NRP certifications required
2+ years of experience
Valid driver's license for radius rule verification

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC charting system
Expertise in L&D and LDRP patient care
Skill in titrating labor and delivery medications
Familiarity with AWHONN guidelines
