Roles & Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments with precision and care
- Assemble sterile instrument trays to support life-saving procedures
- Maintain meticulous inventory of supplies ensuring operating rooms are always ready
- Follow strict protocols to deliver the highest standards of infection control
- Collaborate with surgical teams to keep everything running smoothly and safely
Qualifications
- Active certification as a Certified Sterile Processing Tech
- Current license or certificate verification
- Recent experience in sterile processing environments
- Ability to pass comprehensive health screenings and competency testing
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of certified sterile processing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in decontamination and sterilization techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- Proficiency with sterile processing equipment and inventory management
