Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on a medical-surgical unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio (or compact state) in good standing
Previous Med/Surg or pediatric nursing experience preferred
BLS certification required (PALS preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric nursing best practices
Medication administration and IV therapy
Patient and family education
Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Team collaboration and adaptability
