Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments including IMRT, SRS and SBRT according to treatment plans
• Operate and troubleshoot Elekta Infinity and Elekta Synergy treatment units with attention to safety
• Perform CT simulation and use CBCT/kV/mV imaging to ensure accurate patient setup
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists and nursing staff to implement and verify treatment plans
• Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately in Epic and perform chart checks
• Maintain strict radiation safety standards and follow isolation/PPE protocols
• Provide compassionate patient and family education about procedures and expectations
• Float between like units as needed to support clinical coverage and continuity of care
• Participate in QA activities, field shaping, custom mold/shield fabrication oversight and special procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT(T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience (first-timers accepted)
• Active state therapy license required prior to start; pending licenses are not accepted
• Experience with Epic charting required; experience with Mosaiq is a strong plus
• Comfortable working with Elekta systems and ability to be trained on Elekta if needed
• Willingness to float between like units and adapt to facility needs
• Travel experience is not required

• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
• CBCT, kV and mV imaging for setup verification
• Radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Treatment planning fundamentals and simulation of treatment sites
• Elekta Infinity and Elekta Synergy operation
• Mosaiq and Epic charting systems
• C-RAD and respiratory gating techniques
• Patient/family education, chart checks and QA processes
• Ability to assist with field shaping, custom molds, shields and portal casting
