Roles & Responsibilities

Administer precise radiation treatments to cancer patients following physician prescriptions
Collaborate with medical teams to execute individualized treatment plans with utmost care
Operate advanced equipment like linear accelerators, CT simulators, and brachytherapy units
Ensure patient safety and comfort during external beam radiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and more
Provide compassionate care to diverse patients, from ambulatory outpatients to monitored inpatients

Qualifications

Current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist
Current CPR certification at Healthcare Professional level
Experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred

Education

Radiation Therapist licensure required; relevant education to obtain Hawaii license

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with linear accelerators, simulators, and radiation therapy equipment
Strong patient care skills in a fast-paced oncology setting
Ability to handle physical demands like standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and repetitive motions
