Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the Case Management Department to deliver top-notch patient care
Provide expert oversight of case management, discharge planning and utilization review
Lead, inspire and guide management, medical staff and clinical teams in organization-wide case management activities
Coordinate broad operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies and healthcare standards
Continuously assess, measure and improve departmental performance while managing resources responsibly
Foster a collaborative approach to strategic planning and policy development that aligns with the organization's mission

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse
3 years leadership experience in high volume case management program in hospital or clinic setting
Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, MBA or related field
Preferred: Case Management leadership experience in a high volume hospital or clinic setting

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
Master’s degree in Nursing, MBA or related field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership and managerial skills to plan, delegate, monitor and improve performance
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, EMR and internet applications
Sound judgement, patience and professional demeanor in busy environments
Creativity, problem analysis, decision making, tact and discretion
Detail-oriented with top-notch organizational and prioritization skills
