Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on patient care as directed by Physical Therapists, making a real difference in recovery journeys
Document treatment notes and progress updates with precision to track meaningful improvements
Collaborate with healthcare teams to communicate patient progress and care plans effectively
Train nursing staff and families on maintenance programs, empowering them for successful discharges
Maintain a clean, welcoming treatment environment and ensure equipment is always ready to go
Participate in care conferences and in-service training to elevate facility-wide rehabilitation standards

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing with the state board
Proficiency in computer systems like Casamba and Point Click Care for seamless documentation
Commitment to ongoing continuing education per state requirements

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong computer skills for data entry and program navigation
Excellent communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Positive interpersonal abilities to build rapport with residents and colleagues
