Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with residents and care teams to deliver compassionate direct and indirect care
Tailor specialized support for Alzheimer's and dementia patients using innovative communication techniques
Provide skilled nursing services like IV therapy and wound care in the Transitional Rehabilitation Unit
Foster a safe, home-like environment for long-term care residents on 3 West
Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license (State of Maine or compact)
1-3 years previous RN/LPN experience preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts and float between units

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Medical terminology
Verbal and non-verbal communication for dementia care
Understanding challenging behaviors as valid communications
Team collaboration in fast-paced long-term care settings
