Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (32 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy across all age groups
Conduct home visits and village travel to bring care where it's needed most
Collaborate closely with medical providers using evidence-based practices
Customize care plans with cultural sensitivity and patient-specific needs
Champion professional ethics and respect for Alaska's diverse communities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Licensed in good standing in Alaska as an OT (or eligible and awaiting licensure)
Current NBCOT certification
Current BLS certification
Ready to meet immunization and credentialing requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong evidence-based medicine application
Expert patient care documentation and communication
Ability to connect across cultures, even with language barriers
Didactic skills for Alaska's Direct Access OT practice
