Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients following physician orders and referrals
• Build and update individualized treatment and discharge plans that help patients regain independence
• Document services accurately and on time so every patient's story stays clear
• Supervise COTAs in line with practice acts and facility policies
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams and families to surround patients with support
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance in every session

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active state OT license, or the ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation and communication skills
• A genuine passion for helping patients improve daily living skills
• Team player attitude with a collaborative spirit

• Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Patient evaluation and clinical assessment
• Treatment planning and goal setting
• Discharge planning and care transitions
• Clinical documentation and timely charting
• COTA supervision and mentorship
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and family communication
