Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that help patients rebuild strength, balance, and confidence
• Partner with Physical Therapists to carry out individualized care plans and track patient progress
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and functional mobility training
• Document treatment sessions accurately and on time so care teams stay fully aligned
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and interdisciplinary staff to keep every recovery plan on track

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care is a big plus
• A genuine passion for helping patients move, heal, and thrive

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong grasp of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training techniques
• Clear, warm communication with patients, families, and teammates
• Solid clinical documentation habits and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records
• Ability to manage a caseload while keeping patient safety front and center
• Team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
