Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome patients warmly and get them comfortable before treatment begins
• Support the dentist and hygienist during exams, cleanings, and procedures
• Prepare and organize treatment rooms with instruments and supplies
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the provider
• Keep instruments sterile and maintain a spotless, safe clinical space
• Update patient charts and records accurately in the practice system
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-visit care instructions

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dental assistant or hygiene assistant is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable taking dental x-rays and following radiation safety guidelines
• Strong communication skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Able to stay calm, organized, and detail-oriented in a busy practice
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to jump in on short notice
