Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to keep every visit safe and smooth
• Assist orthodontists during bracket placement, wire changes, and adjustments
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for accurate treatment planning
• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their orthodontic journey
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care with a friendly touch
• Maintain accurate patient records and keep appointment flow running on time
• Support the team with inventory, scheduling, and front-office tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Certification required
• Current Maryland Dental Assistant credentials or equivalent
• Radiology certification if required by the state
• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification
• A caring attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
