Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Assist orthodontists during adjustments, banding, and bonding
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and braces care
• Manage patient records and schedule follow-up appointments
• Provide compassionate care that keeps patients smiling

Qualifications

• Must be ortho certified (required)
• Dental Assisting certification or equivalent experience
• Maryland Dental Assistant license or radiology certification as required
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
