Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based physical therapy care that helps patients regain strength and independence
• Evaluate each patient's functional abilities and build personalized treatment plans that truly fit their goals
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and balance work with energy and encouragement
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to keep every care plan coordinated and effective
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and on time
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies
• Celebrate every milestone, from a first assisted step to a confident walk down the hallway

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Delaware (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• New grads and experienced therapists are both warmly welcome to apply
• A genuine passion for helping patients move better and feel better
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to stand, lift, and assist patients throughout the workday

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Familiarity with therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
• Comfort using electronic medical records and documentation systems
• Great time management so your caseload flows smoothly
• Empathy and patience when working with patients at different stages of recovery
• Teamwork mindset that makes the whole therapy department stronger
• Willingness to keep learning and growing professionally
