Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that help patients rebuild strength, balance, and confidence
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training tailored to their personal goals
• Track progress carefully and document treatments accurately so every care team member stays in the loop
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and fellow rehab pros to fine tune each patient's plan of care
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and welcoming for every person who walks through the door
• Celebrate the small wins with your patients because those wins are what make this work so rewarding

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Maine, or the ability to get one
• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in skilled nursing, long term care, or a rehab setting is a wonderful plus
• A compassionate bedside manner and a genuine love for helping people move better and feel better
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close knit interdisciplinary team
• New grads with a great attitude are absolutely encouraged to apply
