Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that help patients move, heal, and thrive
• Partner closely with a supervising Physical Therapist to carry out personalized care plans
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional training with confidence and encouragement
• Track patient progress and document treatments accurately so nothing falls through the cracks
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Keep the treatment area organized, safe, and welcoming for every person who walks in
• Celebrate the small wins because every inch of progress matters to your patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Maryland PTA license in good standing, or the ability to obtain one
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• New grads are absolutely welcome to apply, no experience required
• A genuine passion for helping people regain their strength and independence
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

• Solid grounding in physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Comfort with therapeutic exercise prescription and functional mobility training
• Sharp observation skills to spot changes in patient condition
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and coworkers
