Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, thorough dental cleanings that keep patients smiling
• Educate patients on oral hygiene routines and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Assist dentists during procedures and maintain accurate charting
• Create a welcoming, comfortable environment for every patient
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented dental practice
• Experience with dental software and X-ray equipment is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene principles and best practices
• Proficiency with dental X-ray equipment and imaging software
• Excellent patient education and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control
• Familiarity with electronic dental records
