Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans that help patients regain independence and confidence
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting
• Partner with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and on time
• Celebrate every milestone as your patients make real, measurable progress

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active New Hampshire Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting is a plus
• New grads with a strong clinical practicum are welcome to apply
• Compassionate communication skills and a genuine love for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for speech and swallowing disorders
• Familiarity with dysphagia management and treatment techniques
• Ability to build tailored therapy plans for a wide range of diagnoses
• Clear documentation and time management habits
• Team-first mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a real passion for helping people find their voice again
