Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to keep every appointment running smoothly
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures with a calm, confident chairside manner
• Take dental radiographs and capture clear images for accurate treatment planning
• Welcome patients and help them feel at ease before, during, and after visits
• Keep patient records, charts, and consent forms organized and up to date
• Educate patients on orthodontic care, oral hygiene, and follow-up instructions
• Manage supplies and inventory so the practice never misses a beat
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and the team

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential required
• Orthodontic assisting experience is preferred
• Dental assisting experience in a clinical setting
• Current CPR certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly chairside presence
• Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts
