Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges
• Build personalized therapy plans that help patients regain confidence and independence
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehab teammates to track progress
• Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes clearly and on time
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Celebrate wins, big and small, as your patients hit their goals

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Experience in post acute, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• Current BLS certification
• A genuine passion for helping people communicate and thrive

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong grasp of dysphagia management and swallowing safety protocols
• Skilled in standardized speech and language assessments
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and documentation systems
• Great communication and patient education skills
• Team player who enjoys working alongside interdisciplinary colleagues
• Organized, flexible, and calm under pressure
