Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that help patients regain strength, balance, and confidence
• Carry out individualized care plans developed with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility work
• Apply modalities and manual techniques that ease pain and speed up recovery
• Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and caregivers to keep every care plan on track
• Keep treatment areas clean, safe, and ready for the next patient
• Celebrate the small wins because every step forward matters

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus, and new grads are welcome to apply
• A genuine passion for helping patients move and feel better
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and teammates
