Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate physical therapy care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities to help them regain strength and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT to keep care plans on track.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a positive, encouraging rehab experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Previous hospital or rehab experience is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
