Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for holistic care
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Float between Herrin, MHC, and St. Joseph's facilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care or rehabilitation
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Ability to float between multiple hospital locations

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in rehabilitation therapy techniques and modalities
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Point Click
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Adaptability to different clinical environments and patient populations
