Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans
Educate patients and families about health conditions and recovery strategies
Document patient progress accurately to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry experience preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
ACLS certification preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
