Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to create meaningful baselines
• Develop and implement personalized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercise programs for lasting gains
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous outpatient or clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to maintain thorough documentation and work well within a care team

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and developing individualized care plans
• Hands-on knowledge of therapeutic techniques for ADLs and functional mobility
• Skilled at documenting clinical progress and following healthcare regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and family education
• Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
